women's kickboxing victoria bc We offer non-contact women’s kickboxing classes in a welcoming environment. Trainer Kristie Byer teaches authentic non-competitive kickboxing techniques practiced on heavy bags and with partner focus pad circuits. This one hour class is full of power from start to finish! You’ll be burning an average of 6oo calories per class, burning fat, gaining muscle, toning and defining your body and increasing your confidence.

You are encouraged to take out all of the frustrations of your day on the bags, surrounded by an incredible network of supportive women who share a common goal of working hard and achieving results. These ladies push themselves beyond their own limitations, encourage fellow classmates in a friendly environment and inspire each other to be strong inside and out.

bootcamps victoria bc We offer year-round indoor Boot Camp classes and, weather permitting, will use the outside elements of the farm. You’ll find us running on the treadmill or up and down the serene country road, doing bicep curls on the Bosu or using the Battle ropes. If we are not doing jump squats on the benches indoors, we are bouncing Medicine balls on the Barn wall, flipping tractor tires outside, and pulling our own body weight up with the TRX.

Our private fitness studio is fully equipped with a Stair climber, Spin Bike, treadmills, elliptical, free weights, Functional trainer, BOSU’s, physio balls, skipping ropes, tubing and more! Class sizes are controlled and we are able to tailor the group Boot Camp classes to the needs of all fitness levels. There is always an alternate exercise for the beginner as well as clients with injuries.

At Chikara, we pride ourselves on being able to offer elite training within these group classes. If you are a beginner, get ready to be inspired. If you are a seasoned athlete, prepare to be challenged!

With regular Pilates practice you will achieve increased body awareness, a stronger core, increased body control, strength, flexibility, better coordination and balance and better posture due to a strong concentration on core – abdomen, obliques, lower back, inner and outer thigh and butt.
